About
New Hope CG is a practice led by Rachel Neurohr, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Washington University. Rachel currently sees clients in Washington, DC, and the state of Maryland. She supports teens and adults navigating various mental health challenges and stressors, including trauma, anxiety, depression, major life transitions, interpersonal and relationship stress, chronic illness, substance use, and court-mandated treatment. Rachel's approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and culturally affirming, drawing from CBT, ACT, person-centered, and existential frameworks. She is a straight, cis woman and an LGBTQ+ ally, often working with under-resourced individuals in DC who are looking for therapy and practical resources. Rachel believes that therapy is essential for everyone, providing processing time, perspective, tools, and support to help individuals feel more grounded, capable, and content.
