Based in Los Angeles, CA, she specializes in supporting nonspeaking individuals with assistive technology such as Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Rachel's passion for helping individuals who need communication support led her to create a digital media platform that educates and empowers thousands of parents and professionals to support a learner's communication through the use of technology. She has presented to over 40,000 clinicians nationally and abroad on using technology to support children's communication and has a flagship course, AAC Ally, which has taught over 4,000 speech-language pathologists the tools they need to better help learners who need additional communication supports. Rachel believes that every communicator, regardless of their disabilities, has the potential to learn how to communicate with the right tool and the right support around them.
