Pioneer Center For Human Svc is a private, non-profit charitable organization providing programs for individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral health challenges, and homeless shelter needs throughout McHenry County. Now celebrating over 65 years of service, they help their clients live dignified lives of well-being, independence, and inclusion. Their growth, health, and safety are foremost in every decision they make. Each client is treated with the utmost respect and dignity at all times. The organization offers various services, including Community-Based Services, Residential Services, Community Day Services, Home-Based Services, Community Employment Services, Behavioral Health, Residential Group Homes, Outpatient Therapy, Therapeutic Mentoring, Runaway & Homeless Youth Prevention and Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, and Homeless Services. They also provide PADS- Emergency & Overnight Shelter Support.
