Pineland Behavioral Health / Developmental Disabilities is a public, not-for-profit community-based organization that serves children, adolescents, adults, and seniors with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and addiction challenges. With over 33 locations across their 8-county service area, Pineland offers a range of services, including outpatient mental health counseling, acute stabilization and detoxification, psychosocial rehabilitation, peer services, residential services, and day and evening substance abuse treatment. They also provide a full range of developmental disabilities services. Pineland BHDD is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). The organization is currently implementing a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) service delivery model, which aims to serve individuals in need of care, regardless of their ability to pay. This model focuses on caring for underserved populations, including those with low income, without insurance, or who are active-duty military or veterans.
