Pineland Behavioral Health / Developmental Disabilities

Pineland Behavioral Health / Developmental Disabilities is a public, not-for-profit community-based organization that serves children, adolescents, adults, and seniors with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and addiction challenges. With over 33 locations in their 8-county service area, Pineland provides a range of services, including outpatient mental health counseling, acute stabilization and detoxification, psychosocial rehabilitation, peer services, residential services, and day and evening substance abuse treatment. They also offer a full range of developmental disabilities services. Pineland is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and is currently implementing a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) service delivery model, which aims to serve individuals in need of care regardless of their ability to pay. This model focuses on caring for those who are underserved, have low income, are insured, uninsured, underinsured, and/or are active-duty military or veterans.
