With a Master of Marriage and Family Therapy from Lipscomb University, Payton brings a unique approach to therapy, incorporating art, movement, visuals, embodiment, activities, and music to create a safe and inclusive space for clients. Their philosophy is rooted in the belief that every human and every situation is unique, requiring unique tools and approaches. Payton's work is explicitly queer, trans, kink, and poly aware, culturally sensitive, and grounded in advocacy. They prioritize safety, autonomy, and authenticity, allowing clients to show up fully themselves. With a strong background in science and research, Payton brings psychoeducation and evidence-informed tools to help clients better understand themselves and their systems. As an Identity Doula and Healing Practitioner, Payton provides a safe and secure space for clients to explore their identities and work through challenges, including gender identity exploration, trauma, anxiety, stress, and relationship challenges.
