Partners Resource Network (PRN) is a non-profit agency that operates the Texas statewide network of Parent Training and Information (PTI) Centers serving parents of children and youth with disabilities ages of 0-26 as well as youth self-advocates ages 14-26. They help parents and youth self-advocates to understand the disability, find program and service options, participate as team members with professionals during IEP preparation, understand state and federal laws, communicate more effectively with professionals, gain needed advocacy skills, and build a support network. All of their services are free to parents and youth self-advocates. They offer free webinars and in-person workshops across the state, and their staff are mostly parents of children with disabilities who understand what families are going through.
