Parents of Autistic Children

They welcome families to their community, providing support, education, and resources. POAC-NoVA offers a range of committees, including the Autism Awareness Committee, Business Issues Committee, Communications & Social Media Committee, Family Support Group Committee, Fundraising & Grants Committee, and School Autism Program Liaison & Legislative Outreach Committee. The organization also hosts events, such as the Caregiver Support Group and the Annual Summer BBQ Pool Party. Membership is free and gives access to a private email listserv of hundreds of local families. POAC-NoVA relies on donations to cover operating expenses and social events for its members.
