About
Initially, the practice began as an adult activities center with the goal of providing a humane and productive lifestyle for those with developmental disabilities. Today, Pacesetters serves individuals with disabilities and their families in 14 counties across the Upper Cumberland Region of Tennessee. They provide day and residential services in 5 Tennessee counties and are contracted with the Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities to oversee the Family Support Program. This program offers needed support, services, and equipment to individuals with severe disabilities and their families, enabling them to remain together in their community. Pacesetters' mission is to empower and support people with disabilities and their families to lead enriched and fulfilled lives.
