Organization for Autism Research (OAR) is dedicated to using science to address the social, educational, and treatment needs of self-advocates, parents, autism professionals, and caregivers. We focus on applying research to answer the daily questions of those living with autism, and our mission is to develop research-based solutions to improve their quality of life. This includes investigating variables associated with positive outcomes in areas such as communication, self care, social skills, employment, behavior, and community living. Our applied research also focuses on family support, service delivery systems, and demographic analyses of the autism community.
