At Oregon Early Learning Head Start & Pre-Kindergarten Program, part of the Mid-Columbia Children’s Council, we promote school readiness among young children from low-income families. We strive to help enhance their cognitive, social, and emotional development. Our program is modeled off of the federal Head Start program and Oregon Pre-kindergarten (OPK) to expand high-quality early learning opportunities for the lowest income and highest need preschool children.
