At Community Action Head Start of Washington County, we believe in the power of early learning. Our Oregon Early Learning Head Start & Pre-Kindergarten Program provides comprehensive child development services that promote school readiness for young children from low-income families. Our program is based on the federal Head Start program, which is designed to enhance cognitive, social, and emotional development. Additionally, we provide a model of Oregon Pre-kindergarten (OPK) to expand high-quality early learning opportunities for the lowest income and highest need preschool children. We are proud to provide these services to our community, and to make a positive difference in the lives of young children.
