Led by Dr. Valentin Hernandez, MD, we are committed to staying up to date with the latest advances in internal medicine and providing comprehensive, personalized care. Dr. Hernandez is a Harvard Medical School graduate who completed his internship and residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He also served as assistant chief of the Department of Medicine for the U.S. Air Force while stationed in Spain. In addition to English, Dr. Hernandez is also fluent in Spanish. Outside of medicine, he enjoys computer programming and attending medical lectures. Our team at Optum California works hard to ensure our patients receive the highest quality of care.
