Founded in 1999 as a music class at the Northern Nevada Center for Independent Living, the practice has since grown to offer a range of adaptive music, music therapy, and neurologic music therapy services. Their mission is to create a community where every person can access, experience, and connect through music. Note-Able Music Therapy Services addresses physical, social, and mental health needs in the community by providing services for individuals of all ages with various abilities and needs. Their services include music therapy, neurologic music therapy, adaptive music and dance classes, adaptive lessons, inclusive events and activities, and community performances throughout the region. The practice is committed to serving all members of the community with compassion, empathy, and solidarity, and strives to promote connection, cohesion, and inclusion while celebrating each person for the unique individual they are.
