Northern Virginia Therapeutic Riding Program (NVTRP) at OShaughnessy Farm is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to helping individuals realize their highest potential through equine-assisted activities. Since its inception in 1980, NVTRP has positively impacted the lives of thousands of riders, volunteers, instructors, and interns. We are committed to providing inclusive, community-based services to people with disabilities, youth-at-risk, recovering military personnel, and other individuals in need. To further our mission, we are in the process of building an indoor riding ring with a viewing area for parents, improved and expanded parking facilities, and an accessible playground. These enhancements will allow us to expand our therapeutic horsemanship and hippotherapy offerings for our community.
