The North Carolina Infant-Toddler Program (NC ITP) is a part of NCDHHS' Division of Child and Family Well-Being, serving families and their children, birth to three, who have special needs. The program's services and supports are provided by the local Children's Developmental Services Agency (CDSA). Sixteen CDSAs across North Carolina work with local service providers to help families help their children succeed. The NC ITP's mission is to provide support and services for families and their children, focusing on the critical period from birth to three, which offers a window of opportunity to make a positive difference in how a child develops and learns.
