Taproot Therapy is a women-owned, culturally diverse, LGBTQIA+ celebrating practice made up of an eclectic group of providers who bring a wide range of identities, lived experiences, and therapeutic approaches to the work they do. Located in Tempe, AZ, they offer individual, family, couples, and group therapy to individuals and systems ages birth through adulthood. Their goal is to help individuals and their families process through the challenges life has dealt and begin to discover their own unique internal resources to overcome their past and start experiencing their best present. They believe that internal 'root systems' can absolutely be healed with compassion and understanding and at Taproot Therapy their mission is to ensure clients have access to therapists that hold these core values.
Insurance & payment
Taproot Therapy is contracted with BCBS, Evernorth/Cigna, Aetna, Tricare/Triwest, and Optum Behavioral Health/United Healthcare, as well as their subsidiary programs. They also provide forms for clients to file out-of-network claims with other insurance plans.
