Their continuum of care includes residential, educational, foster care, mental health, and community-based services. They serve youth 0-21 who are enrolled in Medicaid, providing Coordination of Care for youth with behavioral needs and/or chronic medical needs. New Directions offers over 20 programs across eight locations in Western New York, serving more than 2,500 children and their families each year. Their philosophy of care is based on the principles of safety, respect, responsibility, and goal-directed behavior. New Directions is accredited by the Council on Accreditation and has obtained an Article 29-I license, operating as a Voluntary Foster Care Agency (VFCA) Health Facility with Qualified Residential Treatment Programs (QRTP) on two campuses.
