Music Therapy of Northwest Arkansas (MTNWA) is a sole-proprietorship based in Farmington, AR providing music therapy services to the Northwest AR region. Our services include assessments, individual and group sessions, as well as adaptive and regular music lessons. Music therapy is a clinical-based practice that uses music and musical interventions to address non-music goals. During music therapy sessions, clients can work on a number of areas, including social skills, communication, gross/fine motor skills, educational goals, life betterment and leisure skills. All sessions are provided by a board-certified music therapist with a bachelor’s degree in music therapy, who has also completed a 6-month internship and passed the national board certification exam.
