Julie Guy MT-BC is a music therapist-board certified, Master of Music, and Neurologic Music Therapy Fellow. For over 19 years, she has been providing music therapy services to youth with special needs and retirees in the San Diego area. In 2004, Julie co-founded The Music Therapy Center of California (MTCCA) and currently serves as its vice-president and Internship Director. She has also conducted research on the effects of music intervention in reducing agitation in hospice patients with dementia and published her findings in Voices: A World Forum for Music Therapy. At Music Therapy and Neuro Ed, Julie provides evidence-based, individualized, and client-centered music therapy services.
