Music Sweet Music, Inc.

is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2001. Based in Saint Petersburg, Florida, the practice is dedicated to addressing and raising awareness about the need of Music Therapy in the Tampa Bay community and surrounding areas. Music Sweet Music provides instruments and music therapy to treat children and adults with illnesses, diseases, and disorders. Music therapy is used within a therapeutic relationship to address physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs in individuals. The practice's goal is to support skill development in areas such as communication, academic learning, daily living skills, motor functioning, social skills, behavior, and mental health. Music Sweet Music offers Music Therapy sessions to children and adults with diagnoses such as autism, neurologic impairments, orthopedic impairments, speech impediment, post-traumatic stress syndrome, and other disabilities. With a team of Board-Certified Music Therapists, Music Sweet Music has over 30 years of combined experience in Music Therapy. The practice provides Music Therapy programs at various hospitals, including John Hopkins All Children's Hospital, St. Joseph's Children's Hospital, and Shriner's Children's Hospital.
