Mr. David Roston

David C. Roston is an Iowa City Special Education Attorney that offers legal services, assistance, and support to families of students with special needs or in special education classes in Iowa City and the state of Iowa. He helps parents understand their child's needs and the techniques available to meet them, the regulatory structure that supports special education, and the techniques of advocacy most effective to secure the benefits to which their child is entitled. Mr. Roston limits his practice to residents of Iowa and is admitted to practice in Iowa, but not in Illinois. His goal is to create an effective relationship between parents and their school that promotes the best interests of the child. He provides free initial consultations and can also serve as an advocate in IEP meetings, due process hearings, or court appeals.
