About
Minnesota Disability Law Center is a nonprofit organization that advocates for the legal rights of disadvantaged people to have safe, healthy, and independent lives in strong communities. They serve people with low incomes in 20 central Minnesota counties, seniors 60 and older in 26 counties, and people with disabilities statewide. The organization relies on donations, legislative funding, and grants from foundations, corporations, federal, state, county, and city governments. They do not accept Legal Services Corporation funding, allowing them to take on class action lawsuits, represent noncitizen neighbors, and pursue legal and policy changes at the state legislature.
