Founded in 1996 by Dr. Manuel Manrique, the clinic has been serving the community in multiple locations ever since. They welcome new clients for in-person and virtual appointments and accept most major insurances. Their therapists specialize in working with families, couples, children, and various populations, using a unique approach to meet each client's needs. Michigan Modern Psychology offers comprehensive psychological evaluations, including testing for autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, learning disorders, personality assessments, and more. They provide in-depth psychotherapy that gets to the root causes of a problem and value well-rounded experience and guidance for their interns and recently graduated clinicians.
Insurance & payment
Michigan Modern Psychology accepts most major insurances, including Aetna, ASR Health Benefits, BHS | Behavioral Health Systems, Blue Care Network, BlueCross and BlueShield, Carelon Behavioral Health, Cigna and Evernorth, and Cofinity | First Health. They do not accept Medicaid or Medicare.

Psychological Evaluations
Testing is completed at their Dearborn location and includes ADHD, learning disorder, and IQ testing, autism evaluations, personality assessments, and substance abuse evaluations.
