She primarily works with children aged 10 and up, as well as teens, who are struggling with various mental health and behavioral concerns. Michelle approaches care from attachment and family systems theory lenses, utilizing techniques such as motivational interviewing, psychoeducation, cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, and involving family in treatment to best support the youth. She values working alongside parents to gain knowledge and skills that cultivate growth with their child. Michelle strives to create a safe space for her clients, particularly those from the LGBTQ+ and marginalized populations. She is currently under the supervision of Cindy Nesiba as she works towards becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
