At Methodist Hospital Northeast, our Outpatient Rehabilitation team is dedicated to helping adult and pediatric patients achieve functional independence and improve their quality of life. We strive to build on small successes to create a strong foundation that will maximize function. Our team begins with a comprehensive assessment of each patient’s circumstances, including taking into account their overall strength and health, severity of injury, type of surgery and any other medical conditions that may influence their potential. We motivate our patients while teaching them how to perform daily tasks independently or with minimal assistance, so they can lead active, independent lives in their homes and communities.
