She graduated with her master's in clinical mental health counseling/marriage and family therapy in December 2021. Melissa is an EMDR-trained therapist, along with having certifications in Levels 1 and 2 of Gottman Method couples' therapy. She also utilizes CBT and person-centered approaches in her work. Melissa enjoys working with clients facing a variety of issues, but is especially passionate in working with those who have experienced trauma, PTSD, couples seeking couples counseling, individuals experiencing relational issues, individuals and families facing disabilities, and the Latinx community. Melissa's goal is to provide a warm and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe and supported as they begin healing. She considers it a privilege to work with each and every client.
