At Melissa B Nelson, MD in Richmond, VA, we provide comprehensive pediatric care. Our pediatrician, Dr. Melissa Nelson, is board certified in Pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and has been recognized in Richmond Magazine’s Top Docs issue (2010, 2013, 2016-2020). She has additional fellowship training in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics from the Rose F. Kennedy Center at Albert Einstein University, and has served as the Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics of Bon Secours – St. Mary’s Hospital, the Medical College of Virginia’s Alumni Board of Directors, the ChildSavers board, the PACKids board, and is currently a member of Virginia Tech’s Board of Visitors and serves on the Governor’s PANDAS/PANS Advisory Council. Dr. Nelson and her husband, Kinloch, enjoy spending time with their three children.
