With a collaborative approach, Megan works with patients and their families to understand their unique needs and circumstances. Her extensive experience includes treating members of the LGBTQ and Latino/a communities, individuals living with or affected by HIV, and survivors of trauma. Megan's private practice serves adolescents and adults with various difficulties, including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and relationship issues. She is certified as both an EMDR clinician and a Sensorimotor Psychotherapist, offering a range of psychotherapy modalities, including Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Child Parent Psychotherapy, Attachment, Self Regulation and Competency, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Megan's training includes a B.A. in English Literature from Columbia University, a Ph.D. in Clinical and School Psychology from the University of Virginia, and postdoctoral fellowships at the Stamford Child Guidance Center and the National Institute for the Psychotherapies.
