The practice was founded by Julie McCoy, MSW, LCSW, a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist, who realized the lack of grief-specific resources in the community after the loss of her son. McCoy Counseling Center provides a range of services, including crisis counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy, among others. With a team of experienced clinicians, including Julie McCoy, Julie Griffin, Jennifer Wheeler, Katherine Tunstill, and Marie Patterson, McCoy Counseling Center is committed to giving clients the support and confidence needed in their unique journey toward mental wellness. The practice offers in-person, phone, and online sessions through a secure and HIPAA-compliant platform, Therapy Notes. McCoy Counseling Center is currently accepting clients statewide for telehealth services.
