Margie's counseling degree is from the University of Montevallo, and her undergraduate degree is from the University of Alabama. She also has a law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law, and practiced law prior to becoming a therapist. Margie's approach is generally from a family systems perspective, taking into account the current family and original family relationships, support structures, belief systems, external stressors, cultural expectations, past trauma, and overall health and well-being of the client.
