Margaret's approach to therapy is trauma-informed and psychodynamic, incorporating elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), emotion-focused therapy, and individual-focused Alderian theory. She works with adults struggling to manage symptoms of trauma, anxiety, depression, relational conflict, and insecure attachment. Margaret is committed to creating a nonjudgmental and safe space where clients can freely express themselves. She tailors her therapeutic approach to fit each client's needs, incorporating evidence-based techniques to help them break their cycle of unhappiness, strengthen their well-being, and cultivate resilience. Margaret's experience includes working with adult and adolescent populations in inpatient, outpatient, and residential settings, as well as conducting research on addiction, emotional skill-based parenting interventions, and the Gottman Method. She is an advocate for mental health awareness through public speaking and is passionate about helping her clients achieve optimal emotional healing from various life experiences.
