Malissa Morrell, LMFT, ATR-BC, ATCS, is a credentialed art therapist and talk therapist who works with clients to find the best configuration to help them reach their goals. With over two decades of experience, Malissa has worked in various settings, including community mental health clinics, schools, hospitals, and private practice. She is a professor in her field and has taught young therapists at the University of Utah, Westminster College, and PennWest Edinboro. Malissa's approach to therapy is client-centered and insight-oriented, focusing on creating a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. Art therapy is a key component of her practice, using the creative process to improve and enhance physical, mental, and emotional well-being. The Therapy Studio offers a unique approach to therapy, combining art therapy with talk therapy to provide a comprehensive and effective treatment plan.
