Turnagain Community Health Clinic provides healthcare to the Turnagain Arm communities of Girdwood, Hope, Bird Creek, Indian, Sunrise, and Portage Alaska, regardless of the ability to pay. They offer a range of services, including primary and family care, same-day appointments, behavioral health, integrated substance use treatment, and telehealth. The clinic has a mission to provide health care to all visitors and residents of the Turnagain Arm communities, and they have expanded their services and staff in recent years. They are a federally qualified health center, receiving federal funding and having Federal Public Health Services deemed status. The clinic has a new, state-of-the-art facility, and they continue to serve the community with a range of healthcare services.
