The program, based in Augusta, ME, provides services to people of all ages and abilities, as well as caregivers, family members, employers, educators, health care providers, and social service providers seeking assistive technology information. Maine CITE's services are available to all Maine residents, and no documentation of disability is required. The program is funded by the USDHHS ACL Grant No. 2501MEAT-SG-02 and is committed to helping Maine citizens with disabilities access and acquire assistive technology when needed to participate in Education, Community Living, Employment, and Information Technology/Telecommunications. Maine CITE has a strong tradition of collaboration with state agencies and service providers, and its AT Advisory Council members and AT Consortium partners help to broaden the program's communication and involvement across Maine.
