The Maine Autism Institute for Education and Research (MAIER) and Maine Child Development Services (CDS) have been working together since 2015 to provide the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) intervention to young children with autism and their families. Our Early Start Program helps children with autism, from birth to age three, reach their fullest potential through evidence-based practices and a family-centered approach. Our program focuses on empowering families and promoting social-emotional and communication development in young children with autism. As a leader in providing state-of-the-art therapeutic intervention for young children with autism, we strive to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and their families.
