About
She has five and a half years of experience working with children and adolescents and their caregivers. Mackenzie's work at KKJ revolves around providing individual and family counseling services for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, including Spanish-speaking families. She helps individuals develop their impulse control, emotional regulation, and coping skills, often collaborating with parents and caregivers to implement strategies at home and in schools. Mackenzie recognizes the unique experiences of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) individuals and strives to create a comfortable space for them to share their stories, process trauma, and see the beauty in their identities. Her approach empowers clients to confidently navigate the world and heal themselves from within. Mackenzie is not currently accepting new clients.
