He provides individual, relationship, family, and group therapy to the communities of Oak Park and Chicago through an anti-racist, culturally humble, relational, and strengths-based lens. Luke's specialties include Marital and Premarital, Parenting, and ADHD, and he works with individuals, couples, and families to navigate co-parenting challenges, infidelity, divorce and separation, grief, religious trauma, discernment work, questions of sexuality or gender, or even that vague but very real sense of 'Who am I anymore?' He draws primarily from Emotionally Focused Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, and is LGBTQ+ affirming and welcoming to clients from all backgrounds and belief systems. Luke's goal is to help clients connect, not correct, and he invites them to be honest, human, and to take small risks toward something better. He is accepting new clients and is available for sessions at Grace Therapy and Wellness Center.
Insurance & payment
Luke Dean accepts BlueCross and BlueShield, as well as Cigna/Evernorth PPO, Medicaid Plans (BCBS Community, CountyCare, Molina & Meridian), and offers a Pro-Bono Sliding Scale for under $80.
