Little League Challenger Division Walnut Creek is an adaptive baseball and softball program for boys and girls with physical and developmental challenges. Our program provides flexibility and adaptability with a rulebook that includes a best practices guide for operating Challenger Division Games. These games typically last 1-2 innings, about an hour long, and all players bat and play defense. To ensure players get to experience the same fields as their peers, Little League encourages the use of traditional fields for the Challenger Division. We also invite Buddies to join the program; Buddies are individuals who assist Challenger athletes with batting, base running, and defense if needed, often peer athletes participating in the Little League Baseball or Softball program.
