Little League Challenger Division, based in Sunnyvale, provides adaptive baseball and softball programs for boys and girls with physical and developmental challenges. Our games are designed to be flexible and adaptive, usually lasting 1-2 innings and 1 hour. All players take turns batting and playing defense, and can play on a traditional or synthetic baseball or softball field. We also encourage the use of traditional fields so that our Challenger Division participants can enjoy playing on the same type of field as their peers. We are always looking for volunteers to become Buddies for our Challenger athletes. Buddies provide assistance with batting, base running and defense, only as needed. Buddies can be peer athletes who are participating in the Little League Baseball or Softball program. Join us and spread the word about being a Buddy!
