At Little League Challenger Division in San Rafael, we provide adaptive baseball and softball programs for boys and girls with physical and developmental challenges. Our games are flexible and adaptable, typically lasting about an hour and consisting of 1-2 innings. Our rulebook and best practices guide give teams the tools they need to ensure games are played on traditional or synthetic baseball or softball fields. Additionally, we encourage the use of traditional fields so that our participants can enjoy the same experience as their peers. We also promote the use of buddies, who provide assistance with batting, base running and defense as needed. Buddies are often peer athletes from the Little League Baseball or Softball program. Our mission is to provide a safe and fun environment for everyone to enjoy.
