At Little League Challenger Division in Menlo Park, we provide adaptive baseball programs for boys and girls with physical and developmental challenges. Our teams are provided with a rulebook and best practices guide for conducting games which typically last 1-2 innings and about an hour. We promote the use of traditional baseball or softball fields so that participants can enjoy playing on the same field as their peers. We also encourage Buddies, which are individuals who assist Challenger athletes with batting, base running and defense, as needed. Buddies are often peer athletes participating in the Little League Baseball or Softball program. Our goal is to spread the joy of baseball and foster an inclusive environment for all.
