At Little League Challenger Division Benicia, we provide adaptive baseball programs for boys and girls with physical and developmental challenges. Our rulebook includes a best practices guide to ensure flexibility and adaptability during Challenger games. To ensure a unique and enjoyable experience, Challenger Division games typically last 1-2 innings and about an hour, with all players batting and playing defensively every inning. We strongly encourage the use of traditional baseball or softball fields for the Challenger Division so that participants can enjoy the same experience as their peers. Additionally, we offer the opportunity for Buddies to assist Challenger athletes in the areas of batting, base running, and defense. Buddies are often peer athletes who are participating in the Little League Baseball or Softball program.
