With over a decade of experience in the field of mental health, Dr. Saponaro holds a doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Memphis and a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. She serves as an adjunct faculty member at Nova Southeastern University and runs the guidance program at St. Bernadette Catholic School. Dr. Saponaro's treatment approach is to provide support and practice feedback to help clients resolve current problems, and she views therapy as a partnership between herself and her client. She works with clients to help them gain awareness and insight into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and assists them in uncovering their assets and teaching them helpful strategies to practice new ways of behaving.
