Lighthouse of MD Sociabilities Social Skills Group is a private nonprofit counseling center that has been providing compassionate, skilled mental health care to clients of all ages for over half a century. Located in Catonsville, MD, they offer accessible, affordable community-based mental health care from preschool through retirement. Their licensed counselors and graduate interns provide skilled, evidence-based individual, family, and group counseling for clients across the lifespan. They work with youth and their families to increase healthy coping skills and protective factors, emotional expression and regulation, interpersonal communication skills, and problem-solving. Lighthouse is a longstanding, active member of MAYSB – the Maryland Association of Youth Service Bureaus, and they offer an income-based sliding fee scale for self-pay clients. They also participate with several major insurance plans, as well as Medicaid.
