We are proud to be one of the three Independent Living Centers in Idaho and part of a nationwide network of over 340 centers, founded in California in the 1970s by Ed Roberts, the Father of the Independent Living movement. We are dedicated to upholding the original vision of Independent Living – freedom, overcoming barriers, living with dignity, and independence – and helping our members realize their full potential by providing them with the resources and support they need to make their own life choices and gain full control of their lives.
