The Legal Aid Society of San Diego, Inc. (LASSD) is a nonprofit law firm that provides free legal services to low-income San Diego residents. Our services are determined by a Board of Directors comprised of local client-eligible persons and attorneys. As a part of our mission, LASSD also houses the Consumer Center for Health Education and Advocacy, our largest department, which specializes in health law, health care access, and education. We are funded by the government (City, County, State, and Federal), as well as endowments and charities. With our Midtown San Diego Office, we strive to serve the legal needs of our community and make justice accessible for everyone.
