Legal Action of Wisconsin, Inc. is a civil legal services provider based in La Crosse, with six offices staffed by nearly 80 experienced attorneys. Our mission is to ensure everyone is treated with fairness and respect, and is granted access to justice and quality legal representation regardless of their ability to pay. We have hundreds of volunteer attorneys who donate thousands of hours of civil legal service each year, funded by public and private sources, including the federally funded Legal Services Corporation. We are committed to strengthening and stabilizing our communities, particularly those that have been systemically underserved, by providing responsive and reliable services.
