Lauri's approach focuses on dyadic therapy, working with both the child and their caregiver together, to build stronger bonds and find more joy within the family. She uses co-regulation, play, sensory-based strategies, and parent coaching to help both children and caregivers feel safe, understood, and supported. Lauri's expertise also extends to trauma, attachment, and regulatory challenges, and she is trained in the Training for Adoption Competency (TAC) and the Parent-Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Capstone. With a commitment to trauma-informed care across cultures and communities, Lauri has also provided therapeutic support to children impacted by war in Ukraine. Her goal is to help families build stronger relationships and find renewed hope and connection through her work at Shoreside Therapies in Whitefish Bay, WI.
