About
Lauren earned her Master’s in Social Work from Wayne State University and holds a certificate in Child Welfare. Her approach is warm and collaborative, grounded in the belief that everyone deserves to be heard, supported, and empowered. She works with clients of all ages and backgrounds, supporting those navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, or life transitions. Lauren draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and person-centered approaches tailored to each client’s needs. She is especially passionate about working with children, teens, and families, and has experience with issues like parenting challenges, self-esteem, school concerns, and mood disorders. Lauren strives to create an affirming space for LGBTQIA+ clients and others who may feel misunderstood. With a background in child welfare and diverse populations, she is committed to honoring each client’s unique story. Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, and Lauren aims to meet people where they are—with authenticity, compassion, and respect. Her goal is for clients to feel seen, supported, and empowered throughout their journey.
